M is for Myg

I can’t fucking believe it but now even my dreams are flat. Has anyone else ever had this happen? It’s not too far off from learning another language and then dreaming in that language, but it’s a weird fucking feeling, for sure. But the dream wasn’t bad. In fact, it went sort of like this…

Two gorgeous women built a “little” house. Then they invited everyone they knew to come and trash it. This was the housewarming party of the year, and it’s only mid-March. But it was so happening, that no way any party this year can top it.

To the left you see Lisa, our very own blogger of Mode Premiere. To the right, in springy submissive white, you see her diamond, Vanny. Vanny posted her own blog about the night, the crawly things in her gut before it began, the crowds of people who crushed the bandwidth, the music - so go read it. But as she tells you, no text can give you the vibe. You had to be there.

From the looks of it, seems like most of you were.

That crowd was thanks in no small part to DJ Kai Vandeverre, who did a live set complete with running commentary. Take a look at the next shot and you’ll see why I consider this dude the luckiest guy in the world.

Hey, the ladies like to dance, and he had the beats. Take notes and dream felllas, because you’re not gonna see Vanny and Lisa make a boy sandwich likely ever again.

Some of the Philadelphia pals came, though poor Gala got booted pretty early and had to go watch movies instead. Romana was getting down with it. Good to have her out amongst the electorate, I say. Let them see she’s a “real person” just like you and me.

Somebody’s drunk grandma showed up, probably took too much medication because she was loose as hell.

And I do need to say a word about this, because I overheard somebody say, “A griefer is here!” and then there were ensuing calls to “shoot it.” This annoyed the piss out of me. The only so-called griefing offenses this grandma did that I could see was to be born on the day of the party and to eat too much pound cake. She caused no harm to anyone whatsoever, and to be honest, with all the beauty in the place making me go blind, grandma Av was a nice flavor change after all that damned eye candy.

Of course you know Ben was there too, and I wasn’t sure at first how I was gonna approach him, or if even I would. But he gave me a little “hi myg” in IM, and we got to talking. Low keyed, it was, which is abnormal for me and him, but I guess with all the bullshit that’s happened between us we were both playing it cool. We talked just a little that night, and he wanted to know if we could be friends again. I told him, straight, that I wasn’t angry anymore but something would have to be done to make ammends with Alex. I told him that he might have to just let Alex shoot him and get it out of his system. “I”ll walk into Philly with a big bullzeye painted on me if that’s what it takes.”

Well, it just might Ben. It just might.

In any case, I appreciated him saying that and so we seemed to be on track for a reconciliation of sorts.

We won’t go back to the way things were, but you know, I really don’t want to. Things are different now. I’m different now and I’m not looking for the things I once was.

What that’s going to mean I’ve got no damn clue, but I do know that whatever I find, it’s gonna be right here for you to find too.
