M is for Myg

Spreading like cancer over Topgol, Philadelphia extends its slum into the hinterlands! But the good thing is, this addition has a new soup kitchen for down ‘n’ out and wayward avs brought to you by Gala, who put up this stunning building at the edge of her section of Little Philadelphia. This gem was given to her generously by Arcadia Asylum, a builder who creates all of her own textures. And they are so very lovely. Nice location Gala picked for this, right outside of the new projects and all.

Gala was pretty excited to meet Arcadia and to get this building, understandably. Here she is basking in its glory on a top bunk upstairs.

I think there’s room enough for four homeless folks up there on four separate bunks. There’s even a free computer for hobos to check their email and stocks.

Too bad it’s dial up though, it runs SL like complete shit. But they do serve decent coffee and wienerschnitzel downstairs.

I had the chance to sit with Arcadia and Gala last night and we talked about a lot of interesting shit. I wanted to mine her mineral rich brain on the finer points of SL building and texture design, but too bad I don’t know a fucking thing about it. I am going to try to take a stab and decipher what she was talking about in another post. For now, enjoy the view out of the rusty fan.
