I don’t know what the hell happened…
I was home, minding my own business, checking out Sable’s new building on the block behind Wei 2008 HQ when this dude dropped in. He told me I was hot. I didn’t pay much attention to that, but then he whipped out this chopper.
“Get in” he said.
Well with the suit on and all, I couldn’t resist a little copter ride, could I? I mean I had my ear piece in and everything. Next thing I knew, away we went, over Topgol, away from Little Philly.
Nobody ever said word one about any “questioning” of any kind. But then there I was, inside the Baji police station - same sim where I accosted the Philly filcher last week. At first when they told me to stand still for the picture I thought it was a joke.
But then they told me I was getting just one phone call, and they were damned serious. It sure wasn’t so god damned funny then.
Luckily Romana called just as they were getting ready to throw me in the cell. I don’t know whose palm she had to grease to get me out of there, but I will say, I am one lucky bastard she pulled me out before they checked my pockets.
