M is for Myg

I swear to christmas, I hadn’t even dropped the hit yet.

But all around me, I saw technicolor good feeling the likes of which would’ve killed off the teletubbies with its overshot of happy happy. Welcome to Nakama.

I heard about Toontown from reading this post by Akela Talamasca over at Second Life Insider. She said pictures can’t really do it justice (or something like that) and she’s right, but I took a shitload anyway.

This place really gets to me and since my first visit, I just keep going back for more. First off, it looks a lot different from any place I’ve been. It’s more intense than your typical shitty low-quality builds that make up most of the SL universe, and it’s equally different from the higher quality builds that I guess I’d categorize as modern SL realism.

So my first time here, I arrived in the dead of night and explored for a while by myself. It was creepy - but it was the very good kind of creepy. It’s not so easy to give you the effect in pictures, but imagine being chased by marshmallow chicks through an Easter Parade in the dead of night, and you start to approximate it. Enough to make you either want to abstain from drugs forever, or to start using them heavily.

Which is what I’d actually thought had happened to me when I woke up and found out that I’d been turned into some fucked up cross between a tastypuff and a deranged South Park character.

I was gonna check myself into the Bakuwood Rehab but then remembered the deplorable conditions and our commitment to underfund it when we take the race in ‘08.

There’s a lot more to tell you about Nakama, and I’ll do it just as soon as I can get my old body back. First things first.
