It started out as an ordinary Little Philly evening. The foliage glinted copper light under the dimming sun. Somewhere down the block you could hear the telltale sounds of a skinless noob with his genitals out looking for hookers. Romana, Alex and I gathered around Sable as she told us all about Hair Fair.
How was it? “Laggy,” she said. We spend a lot of East Philly nights in banter such as this. But this was no ordinary East Philly night. Not by a long shot.
I don’t remember the exact sequence of events, but it seems Romana suddenly ducked into a telephone booth where she claimed to have received a direct call from “God.” She has mentioned in the past that “God” speaks directly to her, but seriously, I thought she was kidding. This time he whatever he said he must have meant business, because when she came out she was in full-on superhero gear, proclaiming herself the chosen candidate of 2008.
I suppose an intervention might not have been out of line then, but the girl looked so good in that blue spandex I just didn’t have the heart. Besides, who was I to question the unshakable faith of the Candidate? If the almighty wants to use a telephone to convey his desires for the next election or whether or not to invade Shatgogae that’s between him and W.
Damn, Sable even makes curlers look good!

well bush claims he takes orders from god and only north america is a gods’s given land. and the west virginians believe that dubya is the second coming of jebuz. so it all makes sense, that wei get her orders from the man upstairs.
