Oh, a dainty little lady bunghole!
Say hullo to Adelaide Asshole, a frequent camper at the shit ass casino in Topgol. I tried to explain to her why her presence in the camping chair was causing me and my neighbors aggravation, but she didn’t care. I told her we were a community of nice people, and her resource sucking wastoid existence in our sim was causing us problems, and I’m sorry but the bitch didn’t get it. Instead, she called me a whiner, a complainer, and - get this - a griefer!
Well, maybe I was ripping all those camping assholes new ones, but what the hell, we couldn’t move at all in the sim. What did I have to lose? A very lengthy chat with the casino owner proved completely useless. The guy doesn’t give a fuck, that’s for sure. And now Topgol is all laggy and crappy again. There’ve been some nights it’s so bad, none of us can hang out there at all. Nobody except, of course, the fucking campers.
It’s on now, people. The fight for Topgol.
i do hope that linden labs ban casinos because of the gambling laws. i’m not for the restriction of freedom in sl but in the case of casinos they are griefing everyone and reducing everyone freedom and so should be banned from sl.
yeah, i wouldn’t mind them at all if they didn’t seem to cause such shit sim performance, and maybe i am no expert when it comes to what causes lag, etc, but i do know that topgol was laggy as hell the last time we had a casino, it left, and then the sim performed really well - never any lag. this asshole comes in, and the sim performs like shit again. talking to him - at long length - proved useless because all the guy gives a shit about is his business. and if you ask me, ignoring the needs of the community makes for one shitty business owner.
That girl could make far more L$ dancing somewhere. She appears cute enough…
Camping chairs are the worst idea ever and shouldn’t be allowed. People who spend hours in them like zombies are idiots. Buy some goddamn $L instead. Hello! $1 gets you $L260. Sheesh.
I can confirm everything Myg posted as truth - I was there! I experienced the horrible lag and the godawful number of campers in one confined area - it was brutal. And scary, so many people and no one moving or speaking. *shudders*
My very first visit to Topgol, and a personalized tour of Philly with Alex and Myg? Oh yes, I am so there! Unfortunately, I had a hard time just moving around to keep up! All thanks to one stupid and poorly scripted business, bringing the entire area to a grinding halt.
Oh, how I would sooo love to post chat history from Myg’s classic and incredibly thought-provoking diatribe on campers - - but all I will say is this: please think twice before getting Vint and Myg in the same room together, folks, because I am quite certain they will end up taking over the world! Their minds are a thing to behold and to be present listening to a discourse between them, my tiny little brain would surely burst. In a good way.
Myg, can I pay you to come talk to Bosco for me?

Well, I just feel the need to point out that you are right that casinos and camping stuff have a heavy impact on SIM performance, but - please dont get too general in your meaning about casinos.
Yes, the one in Topgol is crap, because it disturbes the community there. But this is not fact for every casino in SL. At least not for the ones I am working for..
So take some C4 from me to grief the casinos in Topgol, but please not because it is a casino in general. Thx
Don’t worry, Vanny, I’m not sure anyone here is saying anything against gambling in general–at least, I’m not–just poor design that causes lag, and asshole owners who are condescending liars. Topgol is an urban-themed sim, and while there is a fair amount of commerce here, it’s not a HUGE commercial zone, and the owner of the 12 Monkey chain doesn’t really care about how the people here feel, despite his claims to the contrary or his token gestures that do nothing to improve the quality of second-life for the full-time residents of Topgol.
And really, it’s about campers. And if your bosses have a lot of camping chairs, well, I think they suck for that too. Campers are SL scum and camping chair owners are the bottom feeders that live on that scum.
hey, the way i see it, campers on a private sim? that’s fine with me. casinos in and of themselves are fine too. but when you:
a) put a casino on mainland, in the middle of a busy, established, coherently built community and…
b) fill it with camping chairs and…
c) deny any responsibility for causing the sim performance to drastically suck after your arrival (when it clearly, obviously does) and…
d) tell the community members when they complain that you don’t care, because “my business model depends on camping chairs”…then…
e)you are an Asshole. And in Topgol, you will be dealt with accordingly.
I agree with you two totally. And yes, even I dont like the campers of my boss.. although they are on a private island, yes. There are better ways to get traffic and at least the SL veterans who have money to spend.
I am trying hard to tel this my boss but if I succeed this would lead into some work for me: The redesign of 4 whole SIMs.. Oo

well these things may change very soon. because LL just put a blog out regarding age verification and the mature vs adult issue on the sims. so if a sim ( even mainland ) is declared ( mature ) - anyone who wants to enter has to PAY ( free accounts more then premiums ) to enter the parcel. yes LL will even go that far to ask for the last 4 digits of our SSN or passport number for europeans.
now if monkey asshole wants to make his parcel * PG * he is violating the TOS and can be banned.
SL is really going so dam down, because their asses got caught on sl, by 2 residents having child av/ grown man sex, incl childporn pics. the outcome was the man was 54 yrs old and the female 27, whom gotten banned. yet the german tv channel “ARD”, had a major report going on regarding this ” child porn matter “!
we all know, LL was way aware of the child av/ age play, but i am smelling a major lawsuit coming their way - that’s why they are calling for age verification, not with a CC but some serious bullshit 3rd partie company.
