“You’re back?” the doc seemed surprised to see me, especially with pants on.
I couldn’t help it, I did sort of have a crush on this guy. Maybe it was that “I haven’t slept, I’ve been on call for the last 127 hours, take your shirt off - now” look in his eye, but the truth was I really did have a medical reason for being there.
“I need a blood test.”
“You have a pre-cert for that?”
“A what? A prescription?” I rummaged around in my pocket for the crumpled up paper Dr. Moody had given me.
“A pre-certification from your insurance company. We can’t take any blood without a pre-cert, unless you’re planning to pay out of pocket.”
“What? What the hell is that? What if this was an emergency?”
“Is it?”
“LOOK at me, doc.” The guy was no genius, for sure. I was paler than a Norwegian’s ass–couldn’t the man see I was in dire straits? I turned it on, the sad girl eyes, the slumped pouty back, the long drawn out sigh… then I began to sway, unsteadily, just a little, brushing into his thigh with my cheek, ever so subtly. “I’m not well, Dr. Altamura. I need your help.”
I don’t know if he bought it or if he was just too overworked to care. In the end, I got my blood test. Now Lisa’s words were bouncing inside of my beleaguered brain, “You’d better hope they don’t diagnose you with blood necrosis, or you are in big trouble.”
I didn’t know it then, but I was in even bigger trouble than that.

i just read all of the met a stranger since the beginning and i have to say i’m hooked. this is both intriguing and interesting and i already have a few guesses of what may be going on, it will be interesting to see what happens next ^^

shhh Tiana, if you admit that you might know what’s going on, they’ll accuse you of being in on it. Just ask Boston. I’m telling you, the level of paranoia surrounding Topgol these days is at an all time high. I mean, those Philly residents were suspicious of everything to begin with, but Myg is off the chart these days.
Oh, and Myg, you can stop staring into Dr McDreamy’s eyes any time now… hello? Myg?
Okay, that damn doctor dude is now on my suspects list, I just don’t like the guy. He’s way too smooth. And good looking. And rich. And has seen Myg sans clothing. What a bastard! Hates him.
hehe i dont know if i should do this cause wrath really scared me with his warning but if i do capture i’ll just hope my ninja skills will be enough for me to run away.
the 2 that are the most mysterious to me are lisa and vanny. they appear to me as vampires that have been around a while and so seeing vanny struggle with herself in part 7 strikes me as odd. i would think she would have more control on her thirst. she also tells myg to run away in part 18 when before that she was ready to kill her. so either lisa (who it seems is vanny mistres) is playing with her mind or they are both having some bad voodoo performed on them but i would be leaning toward lisa being the mastermind of whats happening to vanny.
Dr. Moody is also suspicious but not in a bad way. i think she knows more then she lets on and might be more then a psychologist. maybe a vampire hunter or a witness to many supernatural things maybe?
also even though i am sure wrath would love for the the male doc to be evil i have to disagree i dont think he is responsible for anything but i do think he will be a big part of whats going to happen in the futur. i dont think he has any deep secrets but i would not be suprised he either gets kinapped, killed or get pulled in the underworld secrets when he sees the test results.
the black outs are also intriguing but for now i dont know what could be causing them. maybe the same voodoo that is affecting lisa and vanny?
the 2 people myg met at paris i dont think much off, to ne they are merely henchman working for whatever is running after our heroine. the sudden dissapearance of Andromega right after my g has a black out is fishy also but without any further clues i cant say what happened to him or if is part of it.
the sure thing is that myg has very little time to know whats going on. she could be changing into either a vampire or a ghoul so her time is limited, not to mention vanny is after her ass.
so thats what i think. i just hope myg makes it out alive ^^

I tell you, this series has more plot twists and unanswered questions than the first season of LOST! Just as you think you know what’s about to happen - boom! Sorry, wrong answer, thanks for playing, please enjoy our parting gift. I am half expecting any day now to start seeing fansites spring up on the web with people trying to spoil each new episode, or searching for clues in pictures or text. As long as I get to be the Met A Stranger® fan club president…
Tiana brings up some interesting theories, and I have to say I don’t mind one bit the part about the doc getting the axe, though. I know that would keep me tuned in and a dedicated viewer.
I was thinking about getting a tattoo with the tag line for this series: “I just hope Myg makes it out alive.” but I didn’t have room enough anywhere on my body for that much writing, so the tattoo dude (who never misses an epsiode between clients) suggested a Reader’s Digest® Condensed Version which read “I hope Myg makes out.” as a tagline alternative, and we both agreed right then, that sure would be one hella cool episode.
