There’s a new stranger in Little Philly now.
I’d dropped by Doc Moody’s office to give her an additional 27,000 L for an emergency phone session when I first bumped into him. I didn’t think much of it. At first.
But then I caught a glimpse of him through the office window snooping around my desk, taking photos.
I watched from outside and tried to follow him as he snooped around Topgol, looking for what, I don’t know. I only know I don’t like it. He gave me the slip in Tattletales though. When I went back to the office, I found he’d left me a note.
I hadn’t decided whether to contact him or not. I really couldn’t tell whose side he was on, but I was a bit worried it wasn’t mine.

oohh agent paine is hawt! i wonder what he’s hiding under that big coat though.
I taught him everything he knows about detective work, psychological profiling, and crime scene investigation. Not quite as confident in his shooting skills, though. He didn’t get that from me.
Yeah, Paine definitely adds to the scenery around Topgol, but I’m not so sure about all that sniffing around Wei 2008. All I need now is a political scandal on my hands…
