Meta strangers

We’d been reading each other for months, leaving little notes, laughing, teasing, stalking maybe *looks around nervously*, anticipation building like the first time you got to see a midnight showing of Rocky Horror and then the moment was here, our lips met and… no wait, that’s the other story. Nevermind. About last night:
Myg and I had the pleasure of attending the second SL Bloggers meetup at Zoe Connolly’s beautiful lakeshore home in a peaceful sim in a location that I won’t disclose here. (It’s bad enough having all those photographers in one place, there’s no reason to alert the paparazzi to the hangout.) We were out on a reconnaissance mission at an expensive restaurant said to be frequented by the Philly Filcher and I was getting impatient. I hate, hate, hate being late. Ask Myg. We rushed home and IM’d Vint Falken to see if the party was still going. Of course it was; it had begun a mere hour before. For some reason I was under the erroneous impression it started at 3 pm SL time, despite repeated notices that it began at 6. No matter how cool I want to be and show up fashionably after everyone has arrived, it’s only Myg who can do that. In fact, I tp’d over immediately and Myg waited, which allowed her to make an unencumbered entrance ten minutes later and upstage me. Again.

After a grueling four-hour series of lectures on blog etiquette, css style hacks, and monetization, we got down to the real business: banter, SLex, and noob orbiting. And we talked trash about everyone who wasn’t there. It’s a good thing Wrath showed up when he did, because I can only defend the man for so long. Hey, what can I say? He has a complex moral compass, okay? What I really need to do is take a page from DesertWolf’s playbook and just hang looking cool and drop the bon mot into conversation at key moments.

But as lovely as Veyron is, she was hardly the only stunning neko there. Okay, so it was a neko themed party, but woohoo! These girls put your everyday hawt nekos to shame. Tober and Chloe make me feel like I’m in seventh grade and can’t talk to girls again. I don’t know what it is about the kitties… but maybe it’s that this comes naturally:

–makes it clear that Katrina was copping a feel at just that moment. (That’s DesertWolf in the background, trying not to breathe heavy.) And, wow, Katrina’s blog is, um, arousing, to say the least. Not safe for work people. Trust me, you won’t be able to help yourself.
After Wrath got Zoe all hot and bothered, he moved on to taunt the lovely Silkyn with a ball of yarn. After that, how are we going to convince her we need her at the next weapons test after party?

Haha! Some hoties get extra attention.. ::Blushes. Mews a little.. Loves the attention, so doesn’t complain.:: Unfortunately, I wasn’t there for a good portion of it.. Had stuff I had to do. ._. Well, I was there, but not watching the conversation. T.T Should just look through my log. But.. it’s not the same. I bet I would have been alot more active if I had. ^^; I should start a more normal blog, perhaps.. since the one I have is just … well.. you put it pretty well.

Eep.. ::Blushes, mewling softly.:: I wouldn’t give that one up. I don’t update it enough as it is.. I’m in need of inspiration when it comes to that. And motivation to type up what I do have. ._., Ah well.
I’m glad you like what I do. ^^; Gives me the want to continue. I don’t get many people commenting on my stuff, so I usually wonder if anyone sees it. ._.
oh, um, I’m reading. *looks around* heheh.
Ok.. i must have missed something.. when did Myg get rid of the pale freckleless skin?… and…er…. how?

I think everyone reads your blog. I’m just not sure they want to admit to it by commenting. I did point to your very erotic writings on my 2nd SL Blog.
Everyone looked fantastic. Alex and Myg, you both make excellent nekos. I wouldn’t kick either of you out of bed for spilling the catnip on the sheets, that’s for sure.
It was very fun! I wish I could have stayed later, but being in the EST zone sort of put a damper on that. I’m looking forward to the next blogger meet =)

Veyron started the ‘let’s pick neko as a theme’ poll, because of some of us showing up like that on the previous blogmeet already and the neko-hype on the SLblogs.
*me suggest the ‘Gorean’ theme next time. bring out the silks, slavetrader and panthera costumes!*
What’s a “Panthera”? Sounds like something I might like…
um, Tober, there are these big female panther cats in the Gor theme… not that I know anything about Gor, really, I just listen well. You might like em, but the whole Gor thing, eesh, I’m into more D/s than most but that scene just leaves me cold. Sorry, Vint. I’m voting pink and green for the next blogmeet.
Vint has a decent idea - as it’s not often I have the chance to be dominating in social settings. Okay, like, never. I have trapped Myg and Vint, though, and that felt pretty good. While I think October almost confused Panthera with Pantera, that actually might make for a more enticing theme, I would think.
Although, I have to say I’d probably vote for the pink and green theme in hopes the Linden-god Torley himself would make an appearance. I’d probably need someone to make me clothes, however, as I seem to be all out of pinks and greens, go figure. Maybe Sable will let me borrow something pink to wear like she gave Alex. No wait, I take that back.

Héhé. I don’t say anyone has to add kneeling poses to their AO’s, but the outfits do look nice. :p The pantera (without H) is impossible as long as we can’t add tat’s/make up to our faces? Wrath, maybe I can dress in pink and you in green and we can go sit next to eachother?
Ok, I can’t wait for the next meeting, you all make me curious, doesn’t matter which theme, I will have to go shopping anyhow.

Anyway.. Uhm.. Personally.. Given a choice between the two.. I’d just do the green and pink thing. But then again, that’s a biased personal oppinion, cuz I just.. can’t do anything even remotely gorean.. It upsets my stomach thinking about most of it. ._.,
