Felt like the damn subway car was sitting on my chest the pressure was so intense. Like my lungs were caving in…and then that creepy whispering sound in my head.
“Vvvertebratus…daemonicon…sssanator” the wind? Uh uh. Didn’t sound like the wind that time.
Though I couldn’t see my attackers any better than I could see shadows in a dark room, they sure as hell had a presence. That presence seemed to say, “You’re dead Myg.” Or something. All I know was that I couldn’t move, and it was really rather uncomfortable being pinned to the floor like that, smelling piss and last night’s spilled booze, thinking I was going to bite it. Again.
I wanted to IM Alex then, tell him I was sorry for being such a bitch that morning, for keeping so many secrets and telling him so many lies over the years. And I would have then, but I couldn’t even move my fingers.
The pressure got more intense on my chest. Then I couldn’t breathe. I closed my eyes.
“Deeeessssskill her . . .”
Definitely not the wind that time. That one sounded like words I knew. Sort of. And sounded a bit more like a guy. But I still couldn’t see anything.
Luckily, they could.

oh this is gonna be good! nekos vs creepy vampires! (or at least they look like vampires.) they kinda look like members of a clergy though. which makes me think that book might have something to do with the church.
i tried googling sanator for the latin definition and it came with a bunch of stuff about the bible. so i think i might be on the right track ^^
