To my eyes SL images tend to be a bit dark and the lightening tool in Picasa does the trick. Best thing about Picasa is that it's free and it helps organize my collection. I think PS (or other programs where you're editing the base image) allow you to correct issues like jaggy edges, blur by pixel, use layers, etc. But, I will give this a try :) Interesting.
