First of all, Happy Valentines Day everyone!

And welcome to M is for Myg to Rain and Sable. You’ve already got me smiling and laughing with this entry. Good stuff.

Finally, a technical question, if you’re inclined to share secrets. The photos in this article have a softness to them I can’t seem to manage in my own posts. Did you do any post-processing of the photos for this (and if so, what?), or are you just really good at taking pictures?

i can’t imagine what kind of fool would stand up the lovely sable!

argent i dont know how sable achieved the softness to her snaps but i have been having a lot of fun with flicker and picnik. you can get that soft look plus a ton of other fun effects. its easy as anything and the results are amazing. have a peek at my flicker, mygs, jellys, elusyves — we are all using the picnik crack. come, join us….

Thanks for the tip, Chestnut! I’ve been using photobucket up til now, but I think I’m just about sold on Flickr. Picnik sounds great, even if just for the ability to crop online. I’ll still practice my GIMP-fu, but this sounds like a wonderful quick solution for short posts that don’t need full-on processing. Thanks again!
